Spring sports are a fantastic way for your kids to exercise and have fun! But, don’t forget to discuss proper hydration and concussions awareness with your little athlete! Dehydration is when kids forget to drink enough water while they’re working hard in the sun! Let them know that if they feel any of the following symptoms, they should let you know!
- Increased thirst.
- Dry mouth.
- Tired or sleepy.
- Decreased urine output.
- Urine is low volume and more yellowish than normal.
- Dry skin.
